Show: Chaos [2/24/2014]

-Johnathan Steele-
"Wow what a counter, the Sweet Dreams is locked in again!"

Thunder finds himself once again in Alessandro's Sweet Dreams submission maneuver. The fans cheer him on to try and get out of this hold but try as he might, he couldn't do it. Alessandro had it locked in to well.

-Justin White-
"Dead center of the ring too, Steele! This is not looking good for The Dragon."

Thunder continues to fight as he looks out to the fans. He could feel himself starting to slip but he refused to give in. But that's when things started to change. The random unknown fans of various ages in the arena began to change before Thunder's eyes. Each of them to some of the people that he knew growing up. Each of them began to start teasing and mocking Thunder. Saying he should just tap. Saying that he wasn't good enough and he was nothing but a failer. Thunder struggled all the more to try and escape the hold, he had to show them, he had to prove to them that he wasn't a failer. But try as he may, he still couldn't break it. And he continued to fade.

Thunder then looked to the ringside seats as one particular person stood out to him. It was his father, but the look on his face, the one he's seen time and time again. It was the look of disappointment. Thunder's father just shook his head, he knew it was over and he knew like all the other times, that his youngest son was just a failer. And it was the last thing Thunder saw, before his vision faded.

***

Thunder woke up in a cold sweat. He immediately sat up breathing heavily. He'd had it again, the exact same dream since he lost to Alessandro about six days ago. Thunder looked around his hotel room. His friend, Tornado, was still asleep in the other bed. His friend had been traveling with him for awhile now, mostly due to his living situation not being to good.

Thunder then got up, he needed some air. So he made sure to grab his key card before he left the room, walking out into the cool night air. Sure he was shoe-less and shirt-less, but it didn't bother him to much, considering he was in front of thousands of people with his shirt off. Strange how that very thing used to bother him the most. So much in fact it was one of the reasons why he used to always wear a shirt when he went swimming, not that he knew how to swim back then.

Thunder leaned against the railing as he looked out over Atlanta, Georgia. Of course, there were still people out, with today's society, just about every City has night owls. Of course, Thunder wasn't really thinking about that. He was thinking about that same dream he kept on having. The one at the end of his last match as all the fans changed. It bothered him allot. After all, it means that he's now for the first time since this Series began, he's below the 2nd rank, below the Undisputed Champion match at WrestleMania. It felt like he had failed though. Not just because he lost the match, but now his only hope of making it back into the top 2 spots was if CM Punk or Alessandro lost their last two matches, and Thunder won.

Thunder slammed his fist down on the railing in frustration. He knew it was possible, but it just meant that he'd be slipping under the radar again, and he'd only be making it back, not because of him being that good, but because one of the others had failed, twice. How was he supposed to beat Leon Cashmere, or even Dutch Clark, if all he's doing is being good enough, to slide by when the others messed up? After all these two are really the top in EWE, maybe even the world. Dutch Clark doesn't lose very often, he doesn't just slip up. In fact, if he looked, those few matches he did lose, he wouldn't be surprised if they were by the current Undisputed Champion, Leon Cashmere.

Leon Cashmere, the one guy that Thunder believed was the biggest threat when it came to Dutch Clark. Thunder knew that the two didn't really see eye to eye. He wouldn't either if Dutch had burned down something of his. But Thunder frowned, remembering watching the shows about how Leon Cashmere had come to the scene and just about dominated everyone in his path up to WrestleMania. In fact, he knew that Leon's victories continued on long after WrestleMania, and the only match he really lost for the longest time, was the open invitational guanlet match that Christy Chaos put up. Thunder could try to get some comfort in how Thunder had managed to defeat Christy Chaos, but who was he kidding. He didn't get Christy's best that night. Not that he gave his, but he barely even won that match. But regardless, it was Leon Cashmere that Christy finally lost the Undisputed Championship to.

Thunder paused briefly in his thoughts, as it brought up something in his mind. His match tomorrow, he'd actually be pairing with Christy Chaos. Thunder had actually been preparing for that match the entire week. Been pushing his body beyond it's limits, for he didn't want to lose another match because his body failed him. After all, he needed to win his next to matches. He had to, if he even had the remote chance of getting back into the top two spots before the series was over. And he couldn't think of a better partner than Christy Chaos.

Wasn't exactly just because she was a former Undisputed champion, or even the fact that she's a former Tag team champion, a fact that Thunder believed she'd still be if not for her brother causing them to practically forfeit their titles. So those things were all in good and showed that Christy would make a great partner, but the other reason, is really out of the ones in the match, Christy was the one he believed he could get along with the most. And not have to worry about desention or problems. Sure, he's one in zero when it comes to his matches against her, but he doubted she held it against him.

As for the other two, well he didn't think it'd work out to well. Like how for some reason, Psychotica seems to hate him. Why exactly he wasn't to sure. True he did poke fun of her in his two promo's leading into Anniversary X. Saying how her words were pretty much a bunch of non-sense and how he called her out about not knowing anything about him. She still doesn't, thinking he was arrogant? He only corrected her thinking when it came to what she thought about him. Of course, she still talks that non-sense too. "Dragon slayer" "Beginning of the end of the beginning"? What is that even supposed to mean? To Thunder it just sounded like a failed catch phrase. Or even one of those looped songs that just keep repeating the same line, over and over and over again. But if Thunder thought about it, maybe that was why she hated him so much. Though not like he meant to be cruel or anything, just he didn't find her scary or creepy like she seemed to be trying for, he just found it funny.

Thunder stopped thinking as a cool breeze swept over him. It felt kind of nice actually. So he just stood there, enjoying the breeze as he let his mind clear. Wasn't long though til it stopped as Thunder looked over the city again. His thoughts picking up once more. As he thought about the other opponent in his match. One Kelsi Parr. Strange though as Thunder thought about it, he wondered if she had been his opponent, if it would of been a good idea or not. True, he noticed that change in her previous match and promo's as she seemed to be trying to stop trying to get that big win, and just go back to enjoying the sport again. Something that Thunder could appreciate, though he probably should do the same himself. Stop trying so hard to get it big, and go back to where he first began, how he competed just for the fun of the sport. No worries either. That was back in the day when it didn't matter to him rather he won or loss, though it was also back when he won the most.

Thunder then thought back to his very first match, where he took on Kelsi Parr. He chuckled slightly as it just seemed how things had flipped between the two of them. Back then, Thunder was excited to have a match, ready to give off a big BOOM! in this company. He fought his hardest, but it was still just an enjoyment for him as he couldn't help but grin even though he lost. Then there was Kelsi, her second match after a devastating loss at trying to get a pretty big prize. And at the time she was trying to get her foot back in the door, as she let her anger and frustrations drive her. Strange as Thunder thought, this would be their fourth match against each other, and things have changed. Yet, perhaps Thunder should take a page out of Kelsi's book. Just go back to having fun. Go back to how things were.

Thunder couldn't help but smile as he thought about it. He pondered on that as he let it sink in a bit. Then his smile widened a bit thinking how Kelsi Parr was going to be the one he targeted for this match. She was the one he wanted to pin to earn him and Christy Chaos the victory. But it wasn't really for the reasons he thought of before. No, it was simply the fact of how each person he's fought the second time after losing to them, he's defeated. The same was true when it came to Kelsi, but as she pointed out, it was a fatal four-way and it wasn't her he pinned. Of course, he could point out that the two victories she had on him, she only pinned him once, the last time it wasn't her doing. But that only made this all the more reason why he wanted to pin her this match. It was time to even the score.

Thunder smiled to himself as he stood there, the breezes hitting his bare chest. Not that it bothered him to much. But then a thought came to him as he frowned slightly.

-Thunder Dragon-
"I still haven't done my promo."

He said that aloud but he didn't care if anyone heard him and thought he was crazy or something. But if only people could read his thoughts, then he wouldn't have to redo pretty much what he just thought about. And it did bug him slightly, after all most of the time when he had to redo what he said or thought previously, it didn't turn out as good the second time. But Thunder shrugged. Nothing he could do about it. Besides, some how he noticed that people seemed to have a knack at finding these things out anyways. Why? He wasn't entirely sure but probably body language and over hearing conversations. So he just shrugged again. Before he headed back to his room. He really should get back to sleep, though he wasn't sure what he should to the next day. But he would worry about that as it came. So for now, Sleep, then Monday, it would be time for another BOOM!
